Strategy & business advisory

Business advisory that ends in a result, not a recommendation.

Most advisory projects die on delivery. Not because the strategy was wrong, but because nobody stayed to carry it through production, logistics and the sales floor. We stay.

When companies call us

Not for a deck. For a decision that can no longer wait.

01

The brand is losing share and no one agrees why

Sales are down, every function has a different theory and none of them is tested. We start with a diagnosis that settles the argument with numbers, not with the loudest opinion in the room.

02

A price war is eating margin and discounting is not the way out

A competitor cut price, you followed, and now you both earn less on the same volume. A discount is not a pricing tool - it is a loan taken from your own margin.

03

Two portfolios just merged and the P&L is a maze

After the acquisition you have two price architectures, overlapping SKUs and no clarity on which product actually earns. We fix the mix and show where profit can grow.

04

A launch has one shot and it has to land

One window, one budget, no room to learn the hard way. We plan the move, pressure-test it against the competitive response, and only then go to market.

  • A go-to-market plan tested against shelf and channel reality
  • Someone who stays and leads the delivery, if that is what you need

Ways to work

Sprint

Diagnoza

2-4 weeks. A fast, senior read on the situation and the three moves that matter most. Low commitment, high clarity.

Projekt

Strategia

The full strategy and marketing plan, pressure-tested against competitors and built to be executed, not filed.

Interim

Leading the function

When the strategy has to be run rather than written, we step in and lead the function until it holds.

Retainer

Advisory retainer

A senior sounding board for the CMO and the team, on the decisions between the big projects.

Questions we get asked

What is business advisory?

Business advisory is work on the decisions that change a company's result: where to compete, at what price, with which portfolio and through which channel. In practice it splits into diagnosis (what is actually happening), decision (what to do about it) and delivery (how to carry it through). Advisory firms differ mainly in which of those three they stop at.

How is strategy advisory different from business advisory?

Strategy advisory is about direction: brand position, market choices, sources of advantage. Business advisory is broader and also covers operations, profitability and organisation. We work across both, because a strategy that cannot be funded from margin or delivered through logistics is not a strategy - it is a wish.

What does business advisory cost?

It depends on the format, not on the hour count. A diagnostic sprint is a closed scope over 2-4 weeks. A strategy project is priced for the whole, not for time. Interim leadership is billed monthly, a retainer for availability. We do not work on hourly rates, because they reward the length of a project rather than its result. We quote after the first conversation, once it is clear what actually needs solving.

What does a business advisor actually do?

In our model: leads the engagement personally. An advisor worth having is someone who has carried a P&L, run a brand or led a launch, and knows where strategy collides with production, logistics and sales. On every engagement one of our partners leads the work, and we assemble the expert team around the specific problem.

How are you different from a large consultancy?

You work directly with partners who have run brands and owned the P&L, not with a pyramid of analysts billed by the hour. We assemble the team around the problem, so you are not paying to keep a bench warm. And we can stay for delivery, including taking over the function for a period.

Do you also do marketing and restructuring advisory?

Yes, where they touch the commercial side. Marketing advisory runs from brand and communication strategy through to media and shelf. In restructuring situations we work on what can be recovered in price, portfolio and channel, usually alongside the client's finance team.

Thirty minutes. We will tell you straight whether we can move the result, and where we would start.
